RigidSeal provides an innovative process for renewing sanitary and storm water pipelines without excavation. The product is comprised of a durable copolymer liner combined with a moisture-cured, expanding structural urethane grout to seal cracks, joints and connections and eliminate leakage while restoring the structural capacity of the original pipeline.
Applications
Storm and sanitary sewer lines in diameters of 8” and above.
• Access is required at both ends via existing manhole or pit.
• Pipeline may be returned to service immediately upon the completion of installation.
• Service connections are reinstated by robotic camera cutter systems to minimize customer disruption.
Features
• Expanding grout seals cracks and joints to eliminate
infi ltration and future soil erosion over the length
of the pipe. Bonds tightly to uneven surfaces.
• Minimal on-site equipment is required for product installation, which is typically completed in under eight hours. No heat, no steam or UV curing is required.
• Environmentally safe with no VOCs or harmful chemicals utilized in the liner or grout materials. RigidSeal is certifi ed to NSF 61 for use in potable water applications.
• Very long life using proven polymers that provide longevity and lack of degradation over the product life span.
• Moisture activated grout expands and adheres to the existing pipe without the requirement for heat or UV light.
• Locking into joints, lateral connections and cracks, RigidSeal provides increased structural capability to
the pipe.
